Hiking trails, swimming pool, simple but well-appointed rooms, and amazing food! Join us at The Bishop's Ranch in Sonoma for our annual Parish Weekend Away 2026. This year we'll gather from Friday, 9/11 to Sunday, 9/13 for two days and two nights of fellowship, fun, rest, and spiritual development. Friday evening begins with a BYO picnic on the on the lawn and the weekend closes with a worship service Sunday morning.

TYPICAL SCHEDULE
Friday
4pm check-in: BYO picnic on the lawn as folks arrive. Or, eat on the way.
7pm: Welcome and introduction

Saturday
Breakfast, lunch and dinner in the refectory. Saturday programs with afternoon
free time for whatever you want.

Sunday
Breakfast in the refectory. Closing community and worship service with Holy Communion. Stick around for more swimming and playing as long as your rooms are clean

St. John's wants to make the retreat as accessible as possible, so we are offering flexible rates. For each category there are two rates listed - the full-cost rate and a subsidized reduced rate.

adult: private ($785 full rate/$630 subsidized)
adult: shared ($395 full rate/$315 subsidized)
youth: age 13-18 ($200 full rate/$160 subsidized)
child: age 5-12 ($105 full rate/$85 subsidized)
child: age 0-4 free)
Saturday day only ($140 full rate/$110 subsidized)
